Zimbabwe international and Mamelodi Sundowns player Khama Billiat sustained minor bruises following an accident in which his car veered off the road and hit a tree on Saturday.

His club website this morning said the midfielder will miss Wednesday game.

"Dr Carl Tabane has reported that Billiat suffered minor bruises to his neck and chest and should be back to full health in no time" the club said.

"The tricky midfielder will most likely miss the next league match against Free State Stars on Wednesday as he was given time off till Tuesday.

"We are glad to announce that Khama escaped the accident, which could have been worse considering that he avoided an oncoming car"

"Just as a precautionary measure the player has been given a few days off and will be further assessed when he returns to training on Tuesday".
