EX Zipra cadre Max Mkandla has claimed that President Emmerson Mnangagwa has destroyed all suspicious political parties through his renewed appointments of cabinet ministers with faces likely to change the economic game plan and lead to the success of his government.

President appointed new cabinet which includes the new faces such as Professor Mthuli Ncube who is viewed as the only hope for economic revival in the country.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I am sure that you will agree with me that the main backbone of the country is none other than the ministry of finance and that is the area where President ED has destroyed all suspicious political parties on appointment of Prof Mthuli Ncube who is overqualified to be a country finance minister but capable of Africa financial minister," Mkandla said.

"The guy is the best and has a clean bill on corruption, I, therefore, call for all Mthwakazi to back their son and give him maximum support in order to achieve his new role in the country. Since independence up to date, that ministry was deliberately given to Harare corrupt people. Also ministry of sports and that of defence now led by female ministers plus cutting the size of the cabinet to 20 it shows that the is hope for change and we are now feeling a new Zimbabwe."
