A Harare magistrate has granted former cabinet minister, Saviour Kasukuwere $3000 bail and ordered him to report twice per day at Borrowdale Police Station.

Kasukuwere is facing four counts of criminal abuse of office from his time as Minister of Local Government, Public Works and National Housing as well as the Minister of Youth Development and Economic Empowerment.

Appearing for a bail hearing in court today, Kasukuwere was also asked to surrender his passport and title deeds to a Nyanga resort and not to interfere with witnesses.
