Zanu PF leader Emmerson Mnangagwa has expressed his displeasure at former president Mugabe's alleged links to a political party that has been formed by disgruntled G40 members.

Addressing the inaugural Zanu PF youth national assembly meeting at Zanu PF headquarters, Mnangagwa said although he is going to hunt for facts, he is not happy with the reports.

"Currently in the media we get speculation and we are not happy with media reports about what the former president is reported to be doing. But we will get facts," he said.

Mnangagwa who has been constantly presenting himself as a listener and believer in God added that "if the people say its wrong, we also say it is wrong."

Mnangagwa and his new administration have been irked by reports that Mugabe met former Minister of State for Mashonaland East provincial affairs retired brigadier Ambrose Mutinhiri who recently announced that he is forming a new political party, National Patriotic Front.

Mutinhiri quit Zanu PF arguing that as a trained soldier he believes the military acted illegally because he was taught that politics leads the gun.

Zimbabwe Defense forces led by then Commander Constantino Chiwenga who is now Mnangagwa's deputy rolled tanks to the streets after the later had lost in Zanu PF factional battles.

Mnangagwa challenged Zanu PF youths to live up to Professor Jonathan Moyo's social media rants.

"Go on to social media and tear our detractors apart," he said.
