2-year-old drown in dam

A 2-year-old Mvurwi boy reportedly drowned while playing at Pembi dam near Luwali farm in Mvurwi, Bulawayo24.com has learnt.

Confirming the death of Nelvin Chivanga (2), Rangarirai Chivanga (32) the father of the deceased said they had visited Luwali farm from Centenary when his son went to play at a nearby dam and drowned.

"We had visited Luwali farm from Centenary and my son just left the house going to a nearby dam where he drowned," said Chivanga.

The body has since been retrieved and sent to Mvurwi mortuary for safe keeping.
