Satanism scare at Banket school

A Satanism scare has hit Trelawney Primary School near Banket with reports alleging that 10 pupils have been affected by the unGodly practice.

The scare is alleged linked to one of the lady teachers, whom pupils say sometimes changes to a snake.

The pupils also alleged that they have often observed a snake entering the teacher's handbag as she steps into her classroom.

One of the pupils said he was deeply affected when he was hugged by the teacher in question, while another, who had some uniform bought for her by the teacher, suffered excruciating stomach pains and had to burn the clothes.

The Councillor for the area, Ms Zandile Maseko and Trelawney SDC Chairman, Mr Teds Kanenji said they are worried over the development and have raised a red flag calling for the teacher to leave the school.

When the ZBC News crew arrived at the school, hundreds of people from the Trelawney community mobbed the teacher's house where she had locked herself in.

She could be seen through the window clapping her hands as if to evoke some supernatural powers.

The school stopped conducting lessons last Friday owing to the alleged Satanism reports.
