Vice President Kembo Mohadi was implicated in the murder of a former World Vision employee in Maphisa, a former journalist Dr Admore Xolani Tshuma has said.

Tshuma who holds a Senior position at the University of Kent posted on Facebook, "During my days as a Chronicle Chief Crimes and Investigations Reporter, I investigated & published the abduction & subsequent murder of a World Vision employee, Strover Mutonhori in Maphisa, Matabeleland South. We headlined it on the eve of Mugabe's Bulawayo visit. The president read my story and just ignored! A cabinet minister now VP was implicated. For how long?"

Norton Member of Parliament also accused Mohadi of being involved in bribery, farm takeovers and alleged murders. The Vice President retaliated by filing a court case for defamation.

Tshuma also lamented the death of veterabn journalist Godfrey Majonga saying his story was a symbol of postcolonial misrule.

"The impunity surrounding the brutal fate of talented Zimbabwean broadcaster Godfrey Majonga defines Zimbabwe's postcolonial misery, abuses and misrule. Here is a man who was thrown from a 3rd floor flat following a love triangle with a powerful politician" Tshuma said.  "Insiders say Majonga was given an option of sitting on a red hot stove or jump from 3rd floor. Majonga survived then, but was silenced through vernomous intimidation.

"A talented and powerful broadcaster, Majonga kept his painful secret up until he was finally recalled my his Maker, 35 years later. He never revealed his fate, its a secret he's now taken to his grave. RIP Majonga. We have been robbed of a horse-mouth testimony that potentially could have shocked the world. I wish he had written a secret manuscript to be published after his death. However, the Majonga story will remain a scar in the conscious of our country for generations. After 35 years on, an enterprising public figure, brutally wheelchaired, has finally rested. Is this how freedom looks like?"
