There is a calculated well-coordinated political onslaught against Prophetic Healing and Deliverance leader Prophet Walter Magaya it has emerged.

A source from the Office of the President and Cabinet narrated to this reporter how Magaya public onslaught and court cases are a plan hatched during the Lacoste-G40 days when he allegedly shifted from working with the military to working with G40 members including Saviour Kasukuwere  in a bid to secure land for his building ventures.

Kasukuwere was then Minister of local government.

The source said the military and some powerful individuals at the Munhumutapa building who brabded Magaya as a G40 Propht.

"Those who are fighting Magaya have resources, Intelligence and influence," the source said. "The broader plan is than his supporters must leave him and his numbers dwindle. The influence he has must be diluted also. If the public onslaught fails the plan will be to use some information that they have to nail him so he goes to prison. Magaya is alleged to have broken a deal to use his influence to support the Lacoste faction and he treaded his soul for land thereby working with the G40.

"The attacks are going to intensify as days go on and he must be aware of this so that he may know how to handle it."

In 2016 former President Mugabe grilled Kasukuwere  during a ZANU (PF) politburo session.

"Ko nyaya yevakomana yemastands iri kufamba sei?" (What's the latest on the residential stands issue?) Mugabe asked."I heard that the stands were sold to Magaya" said Mugabe.

In his defence Kasukuwere said that the issue was a creation of the media.

"There is nothing like that. I am the responsible Minister," Kasukuwere said.

Not convinced, President Mugabe retorted: "No, No, I heard that the land was sold, it was sold to Magaya".
