'Army now fed up with civilians' Jonathan Moyo says

The Zimbabwean National Army is now fed up with civilians who are sabotaging the economy and will soon reign in on them Professor Jonathan Moyo has said.

Moyo who was commenting on reports that Minister of Foreign Affairs General (Rtd) Sibusiso Busi Moyo has sent warning shots again business owners said, "So, in the wake of the exponentially skyrocketing prices, the coup announcer is announcing that the pfee administration's errand business operators have gone errant. It's a telling sign the wheels have fallen off. It's the Army talking: they are fed up with the civilians!"

General SB Moyo had told the media that the ongoing price hikes were a result of indiscipline.

"This is a very temporary phenomenon, what we are going through and sometimes also they say in a democracy there must be discipline," Moyo was quoted saying. "We cannot separate democracy and discipline. If you lack discipline, then what it means is that people would want to maximise on profits, but in reality, profits are basically 10-15%. That is not exactly what is happening on the market."

He further told the media that as government they will soon move in to enforce discipline although initially, they did not want to be hard-handed on the people.
