CONTROVERSIAL hip-hop artiste, Desmond "Stunner" Chideme has denied a public view that he celebrated ex-lover Olinda's wedding to Tytan by declaring that he is "finally free".

Olinda is now officially Mrs Nkomo after her wedding with Tytan on Friday.

Social media went into overdrive on Friday when Stunner took to Facebook and posted a graphic inscribed "Finally I am free" just as pictures of Olinda and Tytan's wedding found their way on the internet.

Most people were convinced Stunner was rejoicing in his ex, Olinda's marriage after previous reports of them still hanging out despite a dramatic public fallout last year.

However, speaking to H-Metro yesterday, Stunner said he does not waste time talking about an ex adding that he had an opportunity to get back to Olinda but refused.

"I’m not controversial, I just don’t waste my time ndichitaura zvisina basa so when I speak you know kuti pane nyaya. I did not talk or post about an ex. The chance was always there and my answer was no then and it will be no again and again," said Stunner.

Explaining his post on Friday, Stunner said he was referring to his own music project and the events elsewhere were just a coincidence.

He added he only realised that Olinda and Tytan had tied the knot on the day when people started tagging him on social media.

"I put up that post like I do every year in similar words (I even put a music turn table). One can interpret it however they want to but if you must know the wedding was the coolest news of the day but I only got to know about the wedding after I saw notifications and tags resulting from my post on Facebook.

"I was in the studio from morning working on my last single of the year. You have no idea the freedom that comes with finishing an album , I even laughed at the coincidence when it was pointed out to me then went on to even comment that it was not my intention.

"How can I be free from her? Ndandakasungwa here? After all I’m the one that left the woman, there is no bitter bone in me. I have been there before and I know how to handle break ups."

Stunner added that he has moved on and will soon be formalizing his long-term relationship with Dyonne.

"I have moved on, blessed with a beautiful baby girl and have since given my date to pay lobola, I now have my groceries list already, life is good and clearly this is a story that has ended well for Olinda and Stunner. We are where we belong now."
