Musical trio, the Born Free Crew, has released a four track audio CD whose tracks pay tribute to the liberation icons of the country for their sacrifices.

The trio's latest offering; "We Salute you" exalts the country's liberators, both fallen and living for their efforts which resulted in Zimbabwe attaining independence.

The title track comes in as the second track on the album, whilst Gushungo is also featured on the album. Another hit song on the album is "President Mugabe Ka 1."

The Minister of Media, Information and Publicity, Webster Shamu, who is also Patron of the Zimbabwe Union of Musicians, commended the musical trio for their efforts in enlightening the nation, saying even adults should take a leaf from the youthful group whose understanding of the country's history is sound and based on the realities of the nation's bitter struggle for independence.
