In an incident that has left Guruve residents shell shocked in Mash Central police identified a two months baby dumped in a river on Saturday.

Sources close to investigations allege that a baby was dumped in Shinje River on an undisclosed date and was discovered by the police on Saturday.

An eye witness who spoke in confidentiality suspects that the action was done by a hooker as babies often disturbs their business.

"I strongly suspect that this was done by a sex worker as most of them do not want babies since they disturb them in thigh vending," said the source.

Meanwhile, the corpse of the infant has been taken to Guruve hospital for post-mortem.
